Beijing to Convert Central Business District into Sustainable City


The Chicago and China offices of famous architectural firm Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill, will create for the Beijing Central Business Administration a sustainable city out of the existing business district and new developments that will focus on efficient transport improvements, green spaces, and reduction in CO2 emissions, waste, and water use. There is no timeline on the project yet but it will be an ambitious effort including high speed rail all to ensure Beijing's position as an international center of finance and business....
